On Nov 11th Roger Sarazin bowled the third highest triple in Canada and the highest score in Ottawa. Bowling out of Mcarthur lanes, in Ottawa Ontario, a center known for its hard conditions Roger bowled his latest perfect game (300).
He followed that up with games of 279 and 285 for a three game total of 864m counting 33 of 36 possible strikes. Shooting perfection in the opening game, he left a ringing 8 pin in the 6th frame of the second game for a 279 score. He started the third game with a 10 pin spare, 10 in a row, then a 5 count. What makes this all the more amazing is that Roger bowls with a leg brace.
Roger has been bowling for 31 years. At age 11 he contracted polio. This has left his left leg shorter than his right and has little to no muscle in his left leg. Roger's left ankle is fused and has no flexibility. To be able to bowl his left shoe is built up to even his legs. Roger's style appears unconventional but he has been able to adapt to his handicap and prove to be a fierce and winning bowler on the lanes.
If his health allows, Roger?s future plans are to try the Senior PBA tour when he turns fifty.
Roger is the proprietor of RAS pro shop located in McArthur lanes. He is holder of a Canadian record with local bowler David Wiskowski single highest doubles game 600 (300,300). Nine sanctioned ABC perfect games.
Sarazin used the Dyno-thane Particle Pearl.
